Last week, the chancellor proposed some changes to childcare in the UK with a vague implementation date.

Working parents are once again left buckling under the weight of bringing up the next generation. This should be a shared social responsibility as we all benefit from having a next generation! I am no economist but here is a list I have compiled with the countries with the biggest economies and their global rankings in terms of childcare provision. You will be surprised, particularly with the top three economies!

Here is my challenge to Jeremy Hunt to do better! Poorer countries are punching way above their weight, surely we can do better?
